Cold days on the river can suddenly become warm when you hook a steelhead like this.
This 36-inch keeper was caught in Tilley's Hole during December steelhead fishing on the Upper Salmon River.

 Scott Kerbs caught this 36-inch wild steelhead buck in October while fishing on the Upper Salmon River.

Two steelhead in the hand are better than any in a story
 Todd Woods caught two nice keepers while steelhead fishing on the Upper Salmon. 
They camped at Warren Creek.

 Though the wind blew and it was a hard day fishing on the Lower Salmon, this is a happy woman with a 37-inch male keeper.
