Upper Salmon River
Red Woods Outfitter has sold its Upper Salmon River business to to River Adventures LTD.
Your jet boat trip on the scenic River of no Return takes you through
the batholith of mining on the upper Salmon River where the Chinese
were sluicing and hand rocking in the 1890's. A view of French Creek,
where the first State road connected North and South Idaho by wagon
road. Along the banks you may view Indian paintings.
You may also see deer, bear, elk, and bighorn
sheep grazing on the steep slopes. Experience the thrill of catching
a steelhead.
